Product Marketing Manager – Solar Energy Solutions

NEOSUN Energy is an international Solar EPC company that provides Commercial Solar PV & Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) with capacity from 200kW to 10MW for Commercial and Industrial projects worldwide. 

Role Overview: As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end packaging, positioning, and promotion of our solar energy solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop marketing materials, including brochures and presentations, and strategically position our products in the global market. Additionally, you will spearhead the introduction of our products to emerging markets, ensuring successful market entry and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Packaging:

  • Develop and refine product packaging, including company website, product presentations, videos, and other materials to enhance visual appeal and communicate value propositions effectively.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure packaging meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Marketing Collateral Development:

  • Create compelling brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials to support sales efforts and educate clients.
  • Ensure all materials are aligned with brand guidelines and effectively highlight product benefits and features.

Global Product Positioning and Promotion:

  • Conduct market research to understand competitive landscapes and identify unique selling points.
  • Develop and implement product positioning and promotion strategies tailored to target audiences and various markets to establish a strong presence globally.

Customer Journey Mapping (CJM):

  • Develop and implement customer journey maps to understand and optimize the customer experience.
  • Identify key touchpoints and propose improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Market Entry Strategy:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities in emerging markets such as Turkey, Nigeria, and India.
  • Prepare SWOT analyses and develop go-to-market strategies for successful product launches in these regions.

Market Analysis and Metrics:

  • Analyze market trends, product metrics, and competitive products to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor market developments and adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Coordination and Management:

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of the marketing and PR team.
  • Plan and organize marketing activities, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.

Sales Training and Support:

  • Conduct training sessions for sales staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about product features and benefits.
  • Prepare educational materials to support the sales team.

Content Creation and Lead Generation:

  • Create content for various platforms to generate inbound leads in target markets, including case studies, white papers, and webinar content.
  • Organize and execute product presentation events such as exhibitions, webinars, and other promotional activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Russian. 
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of B2B market dynamics and experience with global product launches.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Customer Journey Maps (CJM)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in market research and analysis, with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong skills in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint, and the ability to prepare professional presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support market entry and client engagements.
