Neosun Energy completed a 106 kW solar installation for the ProTours Centurion office in South Africa.
The on-grid system, completed in December 2024. The solar PV system comprises 192 high-efficiency Longi 570W panels featuring advanced N-type technology. It is projected to generate approximately 160 MWh annually, with peak energy production occurring during the summer months and reduced output in winter due to seasonal weather variations.
This installation is designed to offset up to 45% of the current energy consumption, delivering substantial savings and environmental benefits. By reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by an estimated 57.2 tons per year, the system contributes significantly to sustainability efforts. This reduction is equivalent to:
– 264 barrels of oil consumed.
– 126,990 pounds of coal burned.
The implementation underscores a commitment to greener energy solutions, reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels while supporting environmental preservation.
Estimated annual generation: >160 MWh
Equipment used:
- Technology: 192 high-efficiency Longi 570W panels
- Inverters: 2x50 kW
