In January 2025, Neosan completed another commercial project in South Africa, launching the complex Hybrid Solution for the Coastal Beach Resort.

The project includes the rooftop solar station as well as Solar Carport System and Battery Storage. The solar photovoltaic (PV) system comprises 180 high-efficiency Longi 570W panels, incorporating advanced N-type technology for superior performance and durability. The system is designed to generate approximately 142 MWh annually, with peak energy production during the summer months and lower output in winter due to seasonal weather variations.

With a total solar capacity of 103 kWp and 147 kWh of available battery storage, the system is complemented by a carport. That not only generates solar energy but also provides shade for parked vehicles.

The project was successfully completed within a 5-week timeline, demonstrating efficient execution and delivery.

This installation is engineered to offset up to 65% of the client’s current energy consumption, significantly reducing reliance on the grid while achieving substantial cost savings.

“Mondli from Coastal Beach Report shared with us the challenges he faced as a business owner due to power outages, grid instability, and the impact of load shedding on his operations. We worked closely to address these issues, providing a solution that ensures more reliable electricity, reduced dependence on the grid, and a solution that will help lower his electricity costs. We installed the system just in time for him to benefit from the 12B Tax Incentive” – commented the Head of Sales Neosun South Africa, Jeanine Jackson.

“First, the solar installation is definitely going to lower our electricity bills, making it a solid investment, – commented Mondli Makhathini, –

Second, during blackouts, our business will continue operating smoothly thanks to our alternative energy solution and solar power plant. This will also enhance customer satisfaction. Neosun has been a huge help— their team is highly professional, keeps us updated regularly, and always follows through on the plan we agreed upon.’”

Additionally, this project delivers noteworthy environmental benefits by reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by an estimated 95 tons annually. The implementation underscores a commitment to greener energy solutions, reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels while supporting environmental preservation.
